Now We Have a Forum

I have been a member of quite a few diving forums for some years now and have found them to be great places where I have learned a lot and contributed when I could. Having just set up a community for artists http://www.artforums.co.uk , which is coming along nicely after just 2 months I decided to make the leap to having a diving forum.

So what makes this different from the others?:

1) Informed moderation. As a reasonably experienced diver I will have daily hands on involvement with the community. In addition I will be inviting experienced divers to be moderators. This very hands on approach should build a better community.

2) An important thing is that this is a community of friends. So no personal insults will be tolerated. It is OK for a member to have a go at another member’s post. It is not OK for a member to have a go at another member.

3) A zero tolerance attitude to profanity. If you are educated and intelligent then you should be able to communicate using the English language without swearing.

4) Being part of an integrated diving resource. Already http://www.scubabrucie.com/ has this articles section with over 50 articles and constant weather updates on key diving destinations. There is much more to come!

So please come to the forums, join the community and discuss everything that makes diving the world’s greatest sport.
