Here are the announcements for this week.

Trip News
- There are 3 spaces available for the Farne Islands trip on 11th to 13th August - Please see Martin if you are interested!
- Red Sea Trip June 2008 - further details are on the board. Please put your name down on the board if you are interested!
- If there any other trips announcement please pass details onto me

Training
- Jules will be running Ocean Diver - Going Diving training course on Monday 23th July at 8pm at the club house.
- Anyone requiring any training please either contact Karl or meet with Karl at the club house between 7.30 to 8.30 on Wednesday evenings. Karl will be at the club this Wednesday, please have a chat if you have any training requirements!
- Nitrox Course - Workshop information is now posted on the board for this course - If you are interested in a basic Nitrox course, please see Helen Hay.

Social Events!
- The 50th anniversary Club BBQ - planned for the 28th July.... We've booked the nice weather!
This will have a 50's theme to celebrate the clubs 50th anniversary. There will be a prize for the best outfit!!!
Tickets are now available! Please see Hannah or Natalie! Don't miss out by leaving it too late!
In order to assist in making this a special 50th anniversary celebration for the club would anyone with the following items please pass onto Hannah and Natalie:
- Diving/club pictures from days gone by
- Any 1950s memorabilia for display purposes
- Music from the 50s to play on the night
As part of the BBQ celebration we will also have a "Guess the Baby" competition... We are looking for volunteers to provide baby photos as well as more recent ones! Can you please forward any photos to Hannah and Natalie either by e-mail or bring to the club next Wednesday night!
We are also looking for volunteers to help out on Saturday afternoon in getting the club house ready and preparing food! Please let Hannah and Natalie know if you are free to lend a helping hand!
This event will be an open invitation to anyone interested in scuba diving and finding out more about the club - Please support your club by joining in the fun and telling any friends and family that would be interested!
